http-icons software package provides classic MIME icons, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install http-icons
http-icons is installed in your system.
Make ensure the http-icons package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep http-icons *
You will get with http-icons package name, version, architecture and description in a table
